  • Kristie and I appreciate your approach about Hazel playing for the long term. We can see that you value the importance of efficient technique, smart game plans, and also enjoying hitting in a fun and challenging environment with peers. Your generosity to give up your time to take Hazel and others on numerous camps to play many tournaments is unbelievable. These experiences have been so beneficial for Hazel in so many ways. She has had the privilege of playing many tournaments and then reflecting on her matches. On camps, Hazel has also had the opportunity to learn about how to prepare before matches and be away from home, helping so much with her independence and maturity. Hazel added that Jackson is inspiring, encourages her to eat well and sleep well and conduct herself well, which we as parents value so much as well. As parents, we feel that so many things that Hazel is learning from her intensive tennis program are life skills that help her grow up to be a really decent and capable person!

  • We have particularly been impressed with the team and group environment created by JV Tennis Academy where older, harder hitting high performance players have been at the courts and supporting senior coaches. This has smashed intimidating barriers when entering the court as a junior. Players, members and coaches are all now familiar faces and creating an encouraging environment. This also clearly shows a pathway in tennis for Jake, showing him the best is yet to come, driving him to give his best on court. Jake loves the games with his mates run by Alex and learning how to play competitively from Jackson.

  • We recently ‘stepped up’ our commitment to the game and started getting 1 on 1 coaching with Jackson. The private session is where we saw the most improvement, gaining expert advice that developed our technique and tactics.
